Peto To France

Jordan Peto, a slightly above average goal keeper, has left Germany once again to join France.  This is a fairly meaningful transfer so here is my quick hit analysis of it:

-The first question that comes to mind is what does this mean for Tristan. I doubt these guys are willing to share time so I will assume Tristan is out, which is strange since I believe he was the better keeper in his hay day. Tristan also would have been very useful against Sudan as he is a beast in the air.

- Does this hurt Germany?  Losing your starting keeper would be crushing to most teams but Germany has Simon Kluge ready to step in.  He has CIS experience and is at least as good as his predecessor.

- If France weren't favorites before they surely are now.  They now have their full team that rolled through the RSA tournament plus the Winnipeg guys they got. Should we bother having a tournament this year?  It's over.

- Hopefully this move works out better for Peto than the last time he left Germany. That run with Canada did not go well.

- Lastly if I am a team in need of a goal keeper (ie. ROI) I am bending over backwards to try and get Tristan. Even if he can only play playoffs it would be worth kicking his tires. He is a former ROI guy so this move makes a lot of sense.

This post is one of those posts that are a waste of space Mike. Who is Peto? Even Shaan Kapila is more of a draw compared to that loser!!!! Little Fat Boy Kirk must be devastated that his highly touted German squad is rapidly falling into the bottom tier of the tournament.

I cant wait for this team to play, I think they will dominate this yr, they looked so good in the regina tournament, especially now they got those Winnipeg players too
from what I heard the players they got were really good

Joker-which Winnipeg players did France get?
Collins1 Tristan is staying is what I heard- no CHANCE he'd play for ROI nor the new ROI#2 in Jamaica. Also, you've played out this France favourite card SOO MANY TIMES already, they have yet to win the tournament. It seems as if you truly just don't want them to win...we get it.
Also, Sudan will CRUSH France. That is all.

Peto is a below average keeper. Huge down grade for France. Tristan not only dominates in the air, but he is just a strong technical keeper all around. Having Peto is going to be France's biggest issue. I've not only watched Peto play, but played against him. Peto lets in some pretty weak goals. That I've witnessed. Ugly goals. Blooper reel type goals. Whoever plays France, keep shooting. Shoot at him if you so choose, they'll go in.

Peto's play in goal is as bad as his greasy mop of a hair-doo he sports. I would say his move makes Germany stronger and France a little weaker.

Peto is nothing special. How about we move on and talk about something that matters. Worst transfer thus far. I'm sure more will agree.

Peto? Who the heck is Peto? Never heard of this guy. Can't be that good ...

The only reason Tristan is good in the air is because he tries to run through everyone and bully people around. Other than that, the guy is nothing special. First off, he doesn't play at all during the year. Second off, he's out of shape. Finally, third off, he is so cocky. Ever think France hasn't made it each year because the goal keeper blows? I put that out there for people to think about.

France didn't pick up any Winnipeg players. Tristan is a beast in goal and that's why he'll still be in goal this tournament. Is any one not tired of Mike pumping France like he expects them to squirt Skittles?

Peto is easily the best Regina goalkeep. If you disagree, then you must play on some bad team and couldn't detect quality if it stoned your dumb ass on a PK Everyone makes mistakes, but we are all judged on overall ability. Right now, Peto is easily at the top
